Welcome Home!

We were able to come home on Friday the 3rd and have been enjoying the time to get to know Sawyer Grace and to adjust our lives around her schedule!
My parents were here for the weekend to help (much appreciated!) and left Monday to give us a chance to enjoy our little family of 3!!

Life in the hospital

We are enjoying getting to know Sawyer Grace and have really appreciated the care from the nurses and doctors!

Sawyer Grace Hulsey has arrived! She was born at 7:16 on April 1st.
7 lbs, 11 oz and 20 1/2 inches long
After being in the hospital since the night before, we decided with our doctor that it was best to go ahead a C-Section.
My doctor is wonderful and it was a super fast surgery and I am healing really well. Marcus watched the whole thing and was able to be there to hold my hand and to hold Sawyer Grace as soon as possible!

So here she is at 32 weeks or so! I have been horrible about updating the blog- doubtful that too many people read it anyway! :)
I am now at 35 weeks and am counting down. We still have some work to do in the nursery, but once that is done and I can begin organizing all of the "baby stuff" I think I will begin to feel a little bit more ready!
I will post pics of the nursery once we have everything in place!

Merry Christmas from the Hulseys! Our last Christmas with just us and the dogs!

Its a Girl!!

I am now 19 weeks and almost half way to the finish line! We found out yesterday that we are having a girl- she is healthy so far and all of her measurements are normal.
Now we get to really start planning- we have to finish clearing out the nursery and fixing a few things before our new little one arrives.

I will try to be better about updating the blog as she grows!!
