Twelve Weeks

We are finally at 12 weeks and I am beginning to not feel so sick!

We had an appointment earlier in the week and everything looks good so far.

It has been fun to start sharing the news with everyone- something about having everyone else know about the baby makes it seem a little bit more real to me!

We are finally at 12 weeks and I am beginning to not feel so sick!

We just got back from the beach and were able to share the news with my sister and her family and my grandparents. This week is officially my 12th week and we have decided that we can finally start sharing the news!

First Doctor's Visit

So we had our first appointment with Dr. McLelland yesterday. I was expecting some bloodwork, a list of what not to eat and a pat on the back until week 12.

BUT the first stop was to the Ultrasound room! We heard the little bean's heartbeat!167 beats per minute!There was not much to see but to hear that sound was just incredible!

So, I guess this is real now. There is a munchkin living in my tummy and he seems to be pretty settled in there.

We go back in four weeks to see the little beano again!

Well- we are having a baby.

I found out the first week of August and had to wait several days to tell Marcus since he was out of town- but I was able to surprise him with this cute onesie as a way of sharing the news.
